CHA CHA CHA CHANGES...

There's a change in the air and I don't just mean the seasonal shift from summer to fall. In the coming months you may notice a re-styling in my shows and projects.

Up until now, the bulk of my performances have been in local bars and restaurants with the occasional ticketed event. In an effort to curate a more immersive listening experience for fans, I will be shifting my business model into more specialized shows and offering more ticketed and private events as we enter the New Year. Rest assured, I will still be playing out at the various venues that you have come to know and love all the Debbie Briggs projects, but it will perhaps be less frequent. And please know that I am still committed to delivering good times musically for all!

Speaking of "good times", my co-bandleader of The Good Time Gals, Myra Burnette has taken on a role in touring Nationally with Iris DeMent. Objectively, this is a wonderful opportunity and 'The Gals' are thrilled for her new adventure. Myra is still a vital member of the band, but as you might imagine, this means she will be performing less frequently with "The Good Time Gals". We love this project dearly though and we will be doing some restructuring in the colder months and bringing in new featured guest artists to perform with The Gals and highlighting other great women artists in the city. The gals also plan to do more touring this next year with Myra! Stay tuned. Catch the going away party/show on Tues. Sept 19th at kj's hideaway.  More info on this project at: www.thegoodtimegalsband.com

"Whiskey Serenade" featuring duo Debbie Briggs and Jesse Goin (Johnny Sincerely) is also going on break and this will allow time to focus on those other ticketed events I spoke of earlier. You may also start to see more solo performances popping up that will be in a similar realm to Whiskey Serenade material.

Looking ahead, keep an eye out for my Vintage Jazz Holiday Show this December and Patsy Cline/Vintage Country show debuting later this winter.
